• 26/06/08 | A Growth-strategy Acquisition –CPSL has expanded its portfolio through the acquisition of realtime Dokumentation & Tools GmbH

CPSL, a globally-active and established localization and translation services provider based in Spain, has announced the acquisition of realtime Dokumentation and Tools GmbH, a technical communication company based in the Stuttgart area of Germany.

Originally founded as a software-engineering company, realtime had become a market-leader in information and technical documentation management for over 15 years. The company offering combines the generation of documentation - including technical writing, multilingual translation, as well as the development and application of software tools for the document management process - with training for content life-cycle solution tools. Through its longstanding vendor-relationship with a major automotive-system supplier in the Stuttgart region, realtime gained significant experience and expertise in providing customer-tailored solutions to a wide range of engineering and automotive companies.

The company will now be run as an additional business unit of CPSL, and has been renamed CPSL Documentation & Tools. The current range of services and the company premises in Ludwigsburg (Stuttgart) will be preserved.

The buyout signifies a major milestone in CPSL's growth strategy in several ways: The new business unit represents a valuable addition to CPSL's existing service portfolio, complementing it with new technology and sound capabilities within the arena of documentation management. Clients from both companies will benefit from a wider range of services, additional language combinations and an increased global network of qualified freelance resources.

With new premises in Germany, CPSL has increased its international presence and strengthened, in particular, its European operations. It is now better-equipped to serve its numerous customers located in Central Europe and Germany through the new regional proximity.
