Quality
In the translation and localization industry, a commitment to quality is of the upmost importance. Not just because of industry regulations, but because poor translations can damage a company’s reputation, have negative financial consequences and even endanger lives. The trust you place in your language services provider should therefore be built not only on professed expertise, but on standards demonstrated through strictly-applied quality methods.
At CPSL, we strive to maintain a quality ethos that demands the highest standards from every member of our team, in all of our departments. This philosophy can be seen in action throughout our entire organization.
Standards you can measure
We are among a select number of language service providers that are ISO-approved, with certification in the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard and also DIN EN 15038 certification, the international quality standard for translation services.
Selecting the best resources
We use only experienced and qualified freelance resources, all of whom are carefully selected, tested, trained and evaluated on an ongoing basis. Our translators and proofreaders use the latest, state-of-the-art Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, which support them in producing accurate, error-free translations.
Quality-driven work processes
CPSL’s work systems reflect our commitment to quality. We have an internal quality department, dedicated to the implementation of our quality assurance systems. Our in-house workflow management software Lucas has built-in quality systems that guarantee standardized processes and ISO-compliance for every project that we handle. And every translation that we produce is subject to exhaustive proofreading by a specialized, native proofreader.
Leading the industry
In 1999, we joined forces with three partner companies on the European Commission-funded MLIS 3005 Quartet Project. CPSL was one of four industry-leading language companies that collaborated to develop a new system for quality control in translation.
Listening to you
We believe in listening to our clients and we welcome your feedback. Our annual Client Satisfaction Surveys provide us with valuable insight into how we can continually improve our services.
