We need people who specialise in:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Translation and editing\/proofreading<\/li>\n<li>Interpreting<\/li>\n<li>Writing and copywriting<\/li>\n<li>DTP<\/li>\n<li>Localisation engineering<\/li>\n<li>Voice-over<\/li>\n<li>Transcription<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>What information should I email to you?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>An up-to-date CV (preferably in English), for <em>freelancers<\/em>, or a general presentation of the company for agencies<\/li>\n<li>Tools and versions used<\/li>\n<li>Rates:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Per source word for translation, editing\/proofreading and\/or TEP (translation + editing\/proofreading)<\/li>\n<li>Per hour for all other services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>I know that discounts apply when translation memories are used for a job. How does this affect translation rates?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>When a text needs to be completely translated, the full rate is paid, but when translation memories are used the relevant discount is applied to the translation rate, based on an agreed sliding pay scale. Exact matches, fuzzy matches and repetitions are paid at a discounted rate that reflects the reduced workload.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Do I need a university degree or a letter of recommendation to join CPSL\u2019s team of external partners?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>It\u2019s not essential to have a university degree or to provide us with letters of recommendation if you want to work with us. These are only required from expert external partners who want to take part in tenders. Interpreters should provide letters of recommendation from, or the contact details of, at least two clients who can provide references for them.<br class=\"xliff-newline\" \/><br class=\"xliff-newline\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>How can I check or confirm the amounts of the invoices I send to CPSL?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Meeting Point, a tool that provides information on CPSL\u2019s projects, can be used to check and validate all of the jobs you\u2019ve completed for CPSL and the amounts that can be invoiced.<br class=\"xliff-newline\" \/><br class=\"xliff-newline\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>How can I log in to CPSL Meeting Point?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>On the homepage of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpsl.com\/en-GB\/collaborator-area\/\">CPSL<\/a> website, click on the <strong>CPSL button<\/strong> (the partners\u2019 area) and then on the Meeting Point logo. From there, you\u2019ll be able to log into Meeting Point. Enter your username and password as shown in your Purchase Order (PO). If the PO doesn\u2019t contain a username or password, please contact the External Resources Management Department to request help.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>When should I invoice CPSL?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>You should send your invoices via Meeting Point between the 1st and the 15th of the month following that in which you completed the project.<br class=\"xliff-newline\" \/><br class=\"xliff-newline\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>How should I send my invoices to CPSL?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>You should send your invoices via <a href=\"http:\/\/meetingpoint.cpsl.com\/fmi\/webd\/web\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meeting Point<\/a>. If the project in question no longer appears in Meeting Point, you should send the invoice by email, to <a href=\"mailto:facturas@cpsl.com\">facturas@cpsl.com.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><br class=\"xliff-newline\" \/><strong>What method of payment does CPSL use to settle its invoices?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Invoices are paid by bank transfer or by PayPal.<br class=\"xliff-newline\" \/><br class=\"xliff-newline\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Do I need to send CPSL a tax certificate?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This certificate is only required from external partners (freelancers) who reside in Spain.
