LocalisationWebsite localisation made simple with automated flows: prepare your company website for international reach
Efficient website localisation means being able to talk to your clients in the language they speak, optimising your website content with multilingual SEO in order to be found online and, last but not least, automating your translation and localisation workflows with the right technology. Learn more about localisation automation and how we can integrate with your content management platform to speed up the exchange of files to be managed by our team.
E-commerce and website translation/localization is an essential step to take if you wish to expand your business activity internationally. From the latest studies, it is clear that online shoppers prefer to buy products and services in their own language and if your website is only in your own language, let’s say in English, or poorly translated, you are definitely missing out on business opportunities. But don’t panic: an experienced website localisation services provider can help you give the needed cohesion and coherence to your corporate content, drive your message to reach your targets and strengthen your brand, be found via Google through SEO optimisation and, just as importantly, automate content management workflows with high-tech systems based on file sharing.
What does this mean? We will cover this below in more depth, but basically you (the webmaster or your company) will be able to fully oversee the smooth running of the content localisation process. The content of blog articles, web pages, and e-commerce entries will pass through an automated system that is fully integrated with your WordPress, Drupal, Hotspot, Liferay, or Typo3 CMS that will download and import files to be translated or published.
Connectors Hub
-
How can my website be updated or translated by professional linguists in a way that won’t involve manual work or copy-pasting content to prepare files?
At CPSL, we use a CMS Connectors Hub that serves as a bridge between your Content Management System (CMS) (WordPress, Drupal, Liferay, and others when needed) and our environment. Your website company expert/webmaster will be able to select the entries that need translation directly from your backend in order for them to be sent to the CPSL connector. Once we have these entries, we start the translation project and when the files are translated and have passed the final QA and checks they are automatically sent back directly to your website and are either immediately published online or uploaded as drafts to be reviewed and published by your team.
-
Is the process the same for all these CMS (WordPress, Drupal, Liferay, TYPO3)?
The process for Liferay is the only one that is slightly different, as CPSL has developed a special connector for this CMS website. You just have to install the CPSLTranslate plugin to experience the same advantages, the rest, is a hassle-free export and import automated content implementation process.
-
What if I don’t have WordPress, Drupal, Liferay?
The above CMS are the most popular in the market, but if you use a different one (i.e TYPO3), CPSL can set up a hot folder software system to enable automation. CPSL will provide a server in which scripts for the upload and download of files can be configured. All CMS generally have modules that allow the export of content in suitable file formats (such as .xml, .xliff, .csv , etc), that can be uploaded to the server. The CPSL team will be notified once files are in the server to be able to start the relevant translation project. Once files are translated and signed off by CPSL, you will receive a notification. Files will be ready to be downloaded and reuploaded to your website, or, if you wish, we can arrange for an automated script to directly import translated files into your website. In any case, we thoroughly examine every individual situation and IT environment: contact us so we can create a tailor-made automated solution especially for you.
